Heyz. I am getting a little confused here. I want to know the best motherboard for AMD X2 4800+ with PCI Express and that supports the newest CORSAIR MEM RAM 8000UL with DDR2 1000Mhz. But the problem is that i've tried to look for it and i can't find. DFi Lan Party doesn't support DDR2..neither Asus. Please tell me the BEST mobo which support the ram's of Corsair DDR2 8000UL in AMD X2 4800+ no matter what price it costs. Thanks

Can't be done. No such beast. Not this year.

AMD CPUs don't support DDR2 yet. AMD says next year with a new socket and new chips they will support DDR2.

Besides, DDR400 outperforms DDR2-533 due to the high latency of the DDR2 specification. DDR2-667 performs better than DDR400, but no mobos that I know of support it yet.

damn..well..i'm going to buy a dfi mobo and then when it's released a mobo with support of DDR2 i will buy it 😉 thanks for the info tough.

Good choice. DFI will be my next mobo too.

Mike.

PS: Just for the record: I was wrong - many P4 Socket775 boards support DDR2-667, but the CPU can't use it - they run synchronously to DDR2-533.
