AMDFX8350 Temperatures with 212Evo

I just got around to installing my hyper 212 evo and I was wondering if the temperatures were right? It idles at 15-20 C but when playing games it can go from 25-40 C. Is this correct? I think I may have done something wrong during installation. Almost nothing works the first time I put it in, usually.

No that is great, you must either have really good luck in the silicon lottery, or your room is just very cool. Your temps are below average for that processor and are fine.

15C is 60F unless you are playing in a freezer those temps simply aren't accurate. That seems to be fairly common on AMD's though.

It's pretty well known that AMD's CPU temperature sensors don't report actual degrees accurately. Rather, it's a rough distance from maximum temperature.

I would not expect a CPU that's reporting "15c" to actually be anywhere near 15c, but the temperature sensor is implying that it's a relatively low and very safe temperature, at least.
