6000 series igpu do support av1 hw decode but 7000 should support hw encode. there is little reason to do av1 encoding due to av1 been lower iq than hevc10

My own testing says you're wrong though. But then again, software AV1 and software H264 are really good compared to hardware. My OBS SVT-AV1 (11) software encoding test looks a tad better than HW H265/HEVC high/6.2 and I have proof if you want it. I've also compared software H264 and HW H264.
