About the RTX3060 : since the 8Gb version was hardly benchmarked, most people don't even know that it has crippled performance compared with the 12 Gb version... Removing one-third of a VRAM bus width does have a tremendous impact on performance, and the RTX 3060 8Gb was a shameful cash grab of a product - the extra 4 Gb of VRAM do help on games that are junk at managing their resources, but the 20% overall performance you don't lose are even more important.
Why they didn't do a "LE" 6 Gb version with full bus width is beyond me - bad memories from the 1060 3Gb maybe ?
