American megatrends problem?

I just got a new keyboard (corsair k70 rgb mechanical).Now whenever I start my computer I get stuck at my Asus start up then get a pop up with American megatrends before the computer starts completely up. It runs fine but start up takes significantly longer. Is this a problem?
Motherboard: Asus Z8Z-A
Power supply: corsair cx600
Graphics card: nVidia gtx 970
If specs help at all.
When I had my old keyboard this never happened.

Sorry I think it's called a splash screen

Splash screen you can turn off in BIOS, probably somewhere in BOOT section. It will not shave much from boot time but you'll be able to see what's going on during that time.
