[SOLVED] Amplifer and car audio head unit settings

Here is the link to my Alpine amplifier details. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-3h9XE9pyw05/p_500MRPM450/Alpine-MRP-M450.html I have a 10 inch 400 watt RMS kicker subwoofer What should my gain , my bass EQ, and my LP filter be on for best sound and bass. And I also have amp gain on the JVC car head unit, here is the link to the JVC which also has bass gain from -5 to +5 and 13 band equalizer. what should I set that gain on along with bass frequency on 13 band equalizer http://www.us.jvc.com/car/multimedia/kw_v230bt/ I busted the subwoofer and waiting for its replacement. Even though it is a good quality subwoofer that handles the amount of power the amp is pushing. I alos have a bad habit of not turning the head unit down when getting out fo the car. and it being that high volume when I start car. Maybe that is the problem .If you can help me wiht this it would be appreciated

Audio tuning is done by car not by any generic setting that always sounds best.
