It's quite grasping and intriguing.

The Pentium M was based upon the Pentium III. It seems it is quite powerful within the range of the Pentium 4.

I decided to share this because it's remarkably interesting and provides a thorough view of the past and a thorough bit of evaluation. It might be interesting to the people who're still thinking about those days.

Pentium M were beasts. Intel took the team that designed them in order to make their evolution : the core series (wich is still in production)

Pentium 4 / D were a failure, inferior the dual dual core CPUs from AMD, so they just cranked up the volts, frequency, slaped two full CPUs under the same heatspreader, called it "pentium D", and prayed they would last just enough to die after the warranty ends.

Sounds familiar ? yes history loves to repeat

You sure manage to create some weird posts sometimes man. LOL. Like the one about the old video adapters you made a while back.

Honestly, I seriously doubt there are many people that ever think about the hardware from those days. People are too busy worrying about tomorrow to even be bothered with today, much less a CPU that was released 20 years ago
