Hello,

I have several questions all over the spectrum of computer components I was hoping you could help with.

First, what are the practical applications of an i7 extreme processor?

Second, does the lower speed reduce performance in comparison to a 6700k despite the additional cores?

Third, will two 1070s work for 4k ultra gaming at high fps or is the 1080 required for this.

Fourth, I understand how ram works, but how much does the speed or CAS Latency affect performance?

Fifth, how significant is the improvement between a SATA SSD vs a M.2 SSD?

Finally, I found what I think to be a good deal on a prebuilt ( not sure about it did a great job of catching my attention with the low price in comparison to the components and the items it comes with) and was hoping if any of you could tell me if it is as good a deal as I think?

Solution
1. Practical? None. Think high end rendering or ultra cpu intensive tasks.
2. Depends on the application. Multithreaded apps yes, otherwise no.
3. No. Not at ultra, more like medium to med-high @ 60fps. They will probably work better than a single 1080. Even 2x 1080's won't run 4k ultra at high fps. Certainly not for games in 1 year.
4. Real world performance difference: none.
5. Real world performance difference: very little. The potential though is massive.
6. Good specs, no idea about price.
