Sounds more a like a problem with win XP (althhough you don't say that's your OS). Just seems to me like something that XP like to do.

May just double check your manual to make sure you don't have the power switch and reset switch confused. But I don't know if it would even boot if you did.

Sorry, never had that problem with my an35n-ultra.

Is there a reason you are running your mobile 2600+ at 11x200... I am doing 11.5x210, and I am feeling like I have a lemon...

Well that was kind of my thought, to reinstall XP. I have tried everything else I can think of.

Before you reinstall, you might as well see what SP2 does?

Now comes the weird crap! I checked to made sure it would shut down, no problem. I install all the updates that Microsoft recommends and now the damn problem is back!! WTF?? Well it seems to be the new updated download installer. After each change I would shut windows down to see if that was the problem. When I installed the updated download installer thats when I started having the problem. So if anyone has heard of this or a fix let me know please!!
