[citation][nom]techguy911[/nom]LoL bulldozer check the benchmarks it does not even beat the 2500k, all hype.more cores does not = more speed.[/citation]

But for the vast majority of folks that are not as much into gaming but into multitasking more cores are a much better thing than the absolute fastest clock speed.

AMD is for the rest of us.

Everyone's waiting for Ivy bridge I'm guessing.

Let's just hope it isn't poison ivy (in regards to sandybridge being responsible for its delay and then we'll have to wonder if they'll have to do recalls on Ivy bridge technologies as well hence why I let other people guinea pig test everything before I buy)

I wonder if it just a extended carry over from consoles and software in general.

current PCs do nearly everything, even old ones. Games have not pushed PC's as most for the last 12+ months are more console ports than what pc games use to be. And console users do not upgrade, they just replace (assuming a new console is out.

Ofcourse, their is the side of no one has the money for a "minor" upgrade when cash is short.

Intel Ivy Bridge and AMD PileDriver and AMD Trinity for mobiles, should be interesting.
AMD is a great company, I think they just spent a ton of time and money on R&Ding Bulldozer. Now that they have created the awesome chip, it's time to scale up single threaded performance!
