Ancientpower for Bulbasaur or its evolutions?

I've seen in a downloadable Pokédex, that the move Ancientpower should
be possible for one of the three to get through some kind of
event...but does anybody know which event, that might be?

It's from the Pokémon Centre in New York. You get an egg, and when it
hatches, the Pokémon will have a special move. I'm pretty sure it was luck
as to which species of monster you got, though, and they were only available
for GSC, so it's no longer an issue.

You could also get a Crunching Charmander and a Squirtle with Zap Cannon.
Personally, I really wanted a Nidoran with Moonlight or Morning Sun (female
got the former, male got the latter) as I thought it made the little-used
Pokémon much more useful.

Their poinson type meant that not many people liked to use them. Their
evoled ground dual-type meant that they had some better abilities, but
poison meant psychic and other ground Pokémon could easily finish them off.

Speaking of Balbasaur, what would be a good combination? I like having leech
seed possibly toxic or sludge bomb (if that's possible) a grass attack and
something else. The grass attack could be Solarbeam combined with sunny day,
but that means there aren't any stat boosting or plain power attacks. I like
having a normal attack for Pokémon who there's no real advantage over, like
body slam.

In fact I wish body slam was a TM you could get somewhere, because it is
quite strong and can paralyse. I think in the early games, RBY, it was a TM
that was available, but you'd need to use it well to pass it on to others
from GSC, but there's no point since we've now got Ru/Sa.

Well, yeah, that's why I wanted one with pseudoRecover - it wouldn't exactly
make them uber, but it'd be a nice head start.

I'm pretty sure the Body Slam TM will be in FL, but if it isn't, at least
it'll unlock plenty of new Pokémon for breeding purposes.

In Fire/Leaf, Body Slam and most other RBY-only TMs are given out by
move tutors. Unfortunately, each of them can only be taught once, and
they don't breed down like TMs do.

It's just like old times!

....wait, back then we had Missingno. abuse. I guess this will really
be the first time we've had true one-shot TMs. (Well, other than
legendaries.)

Aha...I thought, that it meant some kind of event in the game itself...not IRL :)
