Andriod apps icons changing randomly

Hi guys, my s8 apps keep changing to random icons. Like before the 8.0 update one app changed to a random image and then bunch of other apps followed suit. Then I updated to 8.0 and everything was normal again. But now it's doing the same thing. First it was the play store app and the bunch of other apps changed their icons too. They have the same images in the app drawer as well. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Have you rooted your smartphone?

Just had to re apply the theme. I'm using pixel launcher so I switched back to touch wiz and then back to pixel launcher and that fixed it last.
