Hi hoping someone can help me

Iv got 2 LG devices the G5 and G6 both will not connect to my PC via USB 3.0 I plug them in and they just charge no option for USB on the phone and not showing up on my PC at all not even in device manager

But if I plug the phones in to a USB 2 port it will work fine every time

This works but gets annoying especially when transferring alot and it's taking ages I updated my USB drivers via the motherboard website but still no luck iv tryed to look it up but all solutions are ether change setting on phone (don't work) or update drivers via device manager (don't work due to not showing)

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Andrew

Hi the only other USB 3 device I have is a memory stick and that works fine

My motherboard board is a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev 4)

Iv not installed the software but have never used it in the past will try it when I get home

I have tryed multiple cables including the original all of which are power and data

Got the latest driver from gigabyte and when that didn't work got latest from via

Iv tryed both front and back both got same issue phone seams to think it's a charger not pc
