ANEWKODI wifi adapter disconnecting while downloading

I've recently purchased ANEWKODI wifi adapter from amazon to use on my desktop. To test the download I tried re-downloading a game from my steam library but when it hits 4mbs it'll stay there for a few seconds then drop down to nothing and my wifi connection will say limited. I have to disconnect then reconnect in order to get it working again. So i limited my download speed to 3mbs and it works perfectly.

I downloaded the drivers they linked to on their page.

Doesnt mean they work properly. Noone put a limit on your bandwidth did they? Somehow?

I don't understand what you mean

Go into device manager for that adapter. Dbl click on it. Do any of tabs show anything about a limit?

I couldn't find anything like that

Try changing the channel for 2.4 or 5 in the modem. See if that helps
