Hello everyone,

I've owned a 240Hz monitor (AW2518HF) for a while now, and I still love it. Recently I decided to see what the difference between 144Hz and 240Hz looked like. After concluding that you can actually feel a pretty big difference in windows and games and can also see a difference in games, I decided to see what 60Hz would feel like on this screen. I changed it back afterwards but now Windows animations, scrolling on webpages, etc. are no longer displayed in a high refresh rate but instead in a 60Hz fashion. It feels choppy and looks ugly. Does anyone know how to fix this and get it back to 240Hz?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you tried going into your settings and changing your refresh rate to 240 Hz, and right-clicked on your screen and changed it there as well?
My refresh rate is definitely set to 240Hz, I've tried changing it back and forth between refresh rates but to no effect. Don't know why it worked before (when I first hooked the monitor up to my PC) and it doesn't now. Everything else (like games) is 240Hz, just scrolling, moving tabs/programs, windows animations etc. are no longer in 240fps.
