Hey everyone. I've having a really big issue here. I decided to get my dad a USB wireless adapter for his birthday because the wireless card in his computer is nearly 7 years old and he was only getting 2 bars outside.
I bought a TP Link WN725N Nano Adapter and I plugged it in and installed the drivers and such. It refused to connect to the internet. It got onto the network but it will not connect to the internet. I then proceeded to change the wireless mode to 802.11b and it works but the internet speeds are RETARDEDLY slow.
I installed some Realtek Drivers and I made sure to uninstall the network card drivers so they wouldn't conflict but right now, the internet is damn near as bad as dial up.
Can anyone give me a hand? I'd appreciate it.
