I'm currently building a PC for running a minecraft mini game server, it's built on spigot and has 8 servers hooked together through bungee cord. Now minecraft servers are for the most part single threaded applications, so for a normal server the obvious choice would be to go with the i5-2500 since it has faster single core performance. However, since the network is made up of many servers, I was thing that even though the FX-8320 has slower single core performance, it will be able to handle the number of servers better as it can split up the load over it's 8 cores vs the 4 on the i5-2500. So i'm thinking I could even assign each server to it's own core. I'm just looking for some opinions to see what people think.

Thanks everyone!
