Hi all

I have a lvl 44 undead Mage. I bought my undead stead at lvl 40. I hear
it's possible to buy other mounts, like a raptor, how do i go about
doing this?

TIA

I know, I'm not even exalted in my how town, and I've done a LOT of
quests for them. Can't imagine what it'd be to get it for some other
faction

You could also get high faction in a battleground and get a PvP mount.

You need to get Exalted status with the faction of the mount you want to
buy. Which is a very long process I believe :))

Isn't there a limit to how high you can take your faction from the cloth
quests?

I'd love a dead horse, but I just don't see hitting exalted with UC based on
cloth turn-ins. I thought someone said it stopped at honored.

It gets a lot more common after level 50...

Yep. From humanoids and undead in places like Blasted Lands, Felwood,
Winterspring, W/E Plaguelands, Burning Steppes, and of course a number
of the higher instances.

Seriously, if you're level 44, there's really no point even thinking
about getting another race's mount. Yes, the runecloth quest does make
it easier to get Exalted with other races, but it was something that
Blizzard threw in for bored level 60's. Even if you scrimp and save all
the runecloth you ever see, that'll maybe make up 2% of what you need,
the other 98% you'll have to go out and grind at level 60 anyway.

Cheers,
David...
