Question (another) question on 5900X temperature

Hello,
I've bought a 5900x with a ASUS ROG x570E couple of months ago.
I find it running very hot and up to the point I'm wondering if this could be a HW issue.
I have a Dark Rock pro 4 cooler. I changed thermal paste with MX5 already.

Basically, it runs at 50/60c when idle. When I run some game, it usually reaches 80C and after a long session, I usually see FPS drops (when CPU arrives around 82/83c, it seems it will slow down).

I have latest BIOS from ASUS. I've set the CPU FAN to turbo, but apart making additional noise, does not seem to improve much.

I also noticed a huge difference of the CCD1 and CCD2 temperature during a stress test, almost 25c, see image below, Is this normal ?

Currently, I have enabled Precision Boost Overdrive with Curve Optimizer of -10 on all core, and set the VCore offset to -0.87 in AI TWeaker. This seems to help a little bit.
Disabling PBO helps to gain a few degrees, but it still runs very hot.

My case is NZXT H710i with 3 front FANs, 2 top, and 1 back.

Thanks in advance.

Did you install the CPU cooler yourself?
Thats looks to be a quality air cooler.
Yes, I had a cheap Artic 7 that came with, which I replaced myself by the dark rock using some old thermal paste I had. I then removed it and replaced it with brand new MX5 to see if that would make a diff: but it didn't. Also , I'm the kind of guy who usually put too much paste, but at least i'm sure whole CPU is covered 😉

So regarding the diff temp between CCD1 and CCD2, I figured out that this piece of <Mod Edit> of ryzen master software deactivated half of my cores. You can't fix this in the bios, you actually need to go in msconfig / boot options / advanced, and uncheck the CPU core checkbox...
now at least both CCD gets hot :)

Did you swap out the Arctic because of cooling issues?

Yes, as soon as I enable PBO, temp reach 80+ degrees in game and CPU start thermal throttling. This is the reason I changed for a better cooler. It cools better, but event if it takes longer than with the Artic 7X, if I play warzone for 2 hours with PBO enabled, it will eventually reach 82/83 Degrees, and FPS will drops (20% drop).
For now I leave PBO disabled, but I'm really surprised how much it heats. I played with VCore offset and curve optimizer, but could not find any setting where it stays under 80c in game.
Truth is, even in bios, the CPU is already at 50/55 Degrees.
