Hi guys,

2 month old stock build here, do my temps/volts look okay?

I've not touched anything in the bios except change the xmp profile.

I think I may need to re-paste the chip because I fitted the rad block (HX100i with Arctic 5) vertically when I was setting it all up.

Thanks.

Thanks people! I've come from a 2500k@4.4GHz/1.4v and the idle temps on the 3600 just seemed a little high...

I played Metro Exodus last night for a couple of house in a relatively cool room and the chip never went above 70 degrees - I think it sat mostly between 67/69?

I'm still hoping to overclock at some point 😉

You really don't need to OC with Ryzen...direct your efforts at keeping the chip cool and it will do all of the OCing work for you. If you keep the chip in the low 60's the internal algorithms will maximize clock speed and voltage for you. I've run my 3600 both ways and honestly found little to no difference between PBO and being overclocked 24/7 besides a couple of slighty improved benchmarks...in gaming there...
That looks fine. And remember, HWinfo, OpenHardware, HardwareMon itself cannot keep a good live tracking of Ryzen chips.

I always recommend installing Ryzen Master for voltage and clock monitoring.

You don't have by any point have to OC anything. It doesn't tweak your BIOS during installation

The main screen (Basic View) will give you the current clock and voltage and that's all you need.

If your voltage falls below 1.0 then you're good.
If your clock falls below 1GHz, that also means youre good and that your PC is idling fine.

And also, make sure you have the motherboard's current chipset installed so Windows can fully utilize the clock range. You can also set it to Ryzen High Performance Power Plan and it will still idle down to <1.0v and low clocks on idle to dissipate heat and less power consumption.
