I have a question I have 8gb ram ddr4 I have a 8x1 ram stick (8gb) if I buy another 8x1 stick that will be 16g ram right and will it work for my pc is it better than buying a 16x1?

Yes mate. For the overwhelming majority of tasks including gaming, dual channel memory (using two sticks instead on one) is the way to go.

It just depends what your motherboard supports.
Does each slot support a max of 8 or max of 16?
2 8s should not make a difference of 1 16 though.

It's not the capacity of the modules I'm talking about but the config they're in. Dual channel is almost (99.9% of the time) much better for data transfer than single channel memory mode.
