Antec Kühler H20 650 problem

Today I wanted to power on my pc but a huge spark went under my cpu watercooler. It is an Antec Kuhler H2O 650 that I bought 2 weeks ago but unfortunately, yesterday I managed to install it because it didn't had the correct screws.

Assuming that the pc components are ok, could the cooler be a problem? Because I found some liquid particles on my gpu, and the cooler itself...

After a close inspection i found out that one of the liquid tubes from the pump it has 2 small holes. I will post some pics:

Could have burned out that fan header. In your situation the pump should be hooked to power and the fans connected to the CPU FAN header.

I would be cautious with it, you don't want the whole computer to get wet if it decides to leak again or at all.

Is that rust in the second picture?

If fluid leaked out you probably shorted something out near the CPU. Hopefully the system was smart enough to immediately kill power to everything and all you need is a new CPU cooler.

If not, you are probably going to have to start with a new CPU cooler and motherboard as a minimum to begin testing your other components.

Nope it is just the light, my mobo is working, it gets power from the psu. So the cooler is faulty are that holes a problem or it might be other that shorted the mobo?

Not sure how you could consider holes in a liquid cooler as not being a problem. Fluid has to stay in there for it to work at all...

Power to the motherboard doesn't mean much...I assume then that it isn't booting any longer?

Either the CPU or CPU socket/motherboard is dead. You can try that CPU with a new motherboard and hope for the best.

Sparks aren't really a good sign...

I haven't try to boot, i will search a cheaper gpu to try to boot.should i RMA the cooler? I think it was a bad sample, when i tried to install it on the mobo i found that there were 3 screws that worked with the backplate and other that didn't worked....the seller replaced the bad screws and it worked
But how can I prove that it is bad, especially if the pump works?

P.S: I am getting almost the same temps as with the stock intel cooler.

Yes you should consider on RMA when your liquid cooler has holes in it. Not sure why you need such advice. (Short answer: because it has holes in it!) You may have caused them, I have no idea, that is for the vendor to decide.

So you can read temperatures then? Does that mean the computer is working? You aren't being very clear as to what the issues are.

Are you saying the system boots, but the GPU no longer works?

What i wanted to know was what should i do with cooler and how should i prove that it is leaking.

Also, what i wanted to say it is that i powerd on my pc without the gpu (because it it expensive and i don t want it fried) and it turned on. I have read the temps before i had that spark.

I will RMA it but if the seller gives me the oportunity to get another one or a Coolermaster seidon 120 v, what should i get?

Okay, so does the computer boot into windows and work? Still haven't been clear... Is that the computer you are using to make these posts?

Only way to test the GPU is to plug it in and give it a go at some point. Testing with a cheaper GPU will only prove that the motherboard and CPU work, which may already, still not sure.

If you could simply make a list of the components and whether you think or know they are working would be really helpful in providing advice.

How do you prove that it leaks...Is it leaking? I think it is fairly straight forward for you to be able to tell yourself. You stated that you found liquid resting on the GPU, so it had to come from somewhere. If you make the holes you took a picture of the lowest point, does fluid come out? Have you tried powering the pump?

sorry for the late posting!
Yuo,the computer booted im Windows!
What is working:-almost everything
What is not working:-CHA_FAN1 connector.

I tried powering the pump, it didn't leaked...
and about the holes...I haven't done them and the fluid didn't came out. Very strange...
