Right? I'm honestly bewildered. The folks over at Antec must be familiar with the way that dust gets sucked in through every crevice when you're running even a little negative pressure, but 3x120 fans worth? :??:

If they added USB 3.0 to the old 300 it would be better than just about any $70 case on the market. The 300 was a middleweight, all of the cases that were supposed to replace it are lightweights.

The 300-2 does have USB3, a motherboard tray cut-out for mounting heatsinks (I think they added that to the original 300 model somewhere down the line but my 300 does not have it), rails for mounting HDDs/ODDs and a bunch of other small improvements, or at least attempts at improvements. They did cut corners by making fans screwed directly to the front metal sheet instead of putting them in cages with thumb screws.

Having a flat rear would not bother me if it weren't for those protruding brackets and the annoying cover plate that goes on top of them to close the extra opening needed to slip brackets in. Eight screws to remove every time you want to add, remove or move a card. Yes, that would get old quick for someone who swaps cards around on a somewhat regular basis.
