Antec sonata designer static problem

Hello all. I am a first time builder attempting a reasonable music PC. I have been thinking about the Antec Sonata Designer. Two questions related to the Antec Sonata static problem: Does the problem exist with the Designer, and if so, have they fixed it yet? Any advice would be welcome, I obviously don't want to kit it out only to fry it (or myself) with static. Any general music PC suggestions would also be welcome, cheers

What static problems are you talking about? Could your describe this in more detail?

On my Cooler Master Scout if I have static charge it will reset my computer if I touch the front panel which is metal. No damage just a reset. Obviously it only happens in the winter.
