Hey guys.I have an Antec VP600P which i might add i want to upgrade next year.I am on disability grant so i can't just up and buy it i have to save for it.So will this be fine for running my 1070 ti for around 6-7 months?I got my GPU declocked so i can get 1683mhz on core(without declock it would boost to 1910mhz for some reason)

My whole pc was built on low wattage.
CPU R5 2600
Cooler Coolermaster ML240L rgb
GPU Gigabyte GTX 1070 TI
Ram 2xCrucial ballistix 2666mhz oc'd to 2933
Storage 2x 120gb ssd's in raid
1x1tb WD
1x2tb WD
Fans In total 5 fans case came with 3 cooler came with 2.

neither. well the CX is better but not any better than what you have now.

THIS is 100% better but you'll need to save more $
Ah ty ye it's only 200 bucks it's not gonna kill me will get it :)
Just a quick question will i be able to oc with the new psu?Rather i want to take out the declock on my gpu so it will boost to 1.8-1.9. stock.Something wrong idk what yet.

nothing is "wrong", that is nvidia's GPUboost. in short if the power and temps are within limits, the clock speed will increase. better chips will boost higher than others but around 1850-1950 sounds about average.

ah ty for explaining that.Tbh never had a gpu like this.I came from a crappy 1050ti to this.It boost around 1900mhz and get to 82c msi afterburners set to auto i didn't change power limit or undervolt it yet.I understood the concept of gpu boost i just didn't expect it to be 200+mhz higher

no you're not. newer (which there are NO reviews of) or older, are nothing more than mainstream PSUs.

updated platform thats it. move along.
If there are no reviews of the newer CX and CXM, explain how these exist.

CX450 2017 (both flavors)
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/corsair-cx450-psu,5678.html
CX450m 2015
https://tweakers.net/productreview/136105/corsair-cx450m.html
CX550m 2015

Its not group regulated unlike old one. DC-DC on both CX and CXM models. CX has LLC resonant topology.

The grey label CXM have been out for 2015 and the grey label CX have been out from 2017. These are pretty well known to be decent by now.

the explanation is; i didn't see those.:)

however thanks for pointing out the link(s). relatively speaking, back when new, that antec was considered a decent PSU which the CX series were always considered a decent PSU.

so yeah if the OP wants decent, which got him where he is now, then sure go for it.

but if he wants to avoid making the same mistake again . . .

I decided on the TMX 650w.It's a litlle more expensive but it gives me somewhat of a head room to upgrade later. It's 80+ gold Certified and 7y warranty.I really don't want to make the same mistake.Igot the antec 600w on special for 600 bucks(it's 900 bucks now)And it's a crappy unit for a 1070 ti.
