Anti seize compund as thermal paste

You know, that copper paste that mechanics use to assemble bolts and nuts so they dont rust and get hard to remove. Do you thing that it can be use as thermal paste...? somebody willing to try? I cant since my spare system isnt functionnal yet.

the point of thermal greese is not to be a good conductor...contrary to what AS may tell ya...its job is to be able to create a good contact between 2 materials while mantaining so so amounts of thermal conductivity...

If i put my k6 in a Ferrari it would be faster than your your pentium 4 or Athlon XP :tongue:
 
I use general purpose grease. Why? It's around $2 a tub. That's probably equivalent to around 200 syringes of Artic Silver 3. And it works about as well. It's also high heat, so it won't run off when it gets hot.
