I installed the motherboard with the i7 11700k. Unlike ASUS, the motherboard did not come with any fan control/over clocking software like ASUS. I have to use either the Intel XTU or do the overclocking/fan tuning in the bios. The fan seems to be running continuously. I am now seriously considering to get ASRock or ASus motherboard. Any input on what alternative software I can use for OC other than get the motherboard swapped?

You don't need to get "alternative software", you need to do a little research and figure out how to configure your overclock and fan profiles in the BIOS, which is where it SHOULD be done anyhow.

There are tons of tutorials out there showing how to configure BIOS overclocking and fan curve profiles for Z590 and pretty much all other motherboard chipset families.

Most likely, the majority of MSI Z490 overclocking and other BIOS configuration guides will work fine because there aren't a lot of significant changes from one chipset family to the next when it comes to most typical BIOS configuration settings.

That is regardless of what brand or board model you choose. It's generally never recommended to configure on the desktop what you...

I found MSI Center app on the MSI website. Unfortunately the CPU fan speed doesn't stick. Always runs at full speed and the CPU is lightly used.
