Any alternatives for the Windows 10 feature "Record that"?

I love that Windows 10 offers the "Record that" feature but it has so many bugs. I love the idea of recording past gameplay, but I need something that does it better. Also, I know ShadowPlay does it but it works 5% of the time.

Shame about Shadowplay. It works perfectly for me and has for over a year (GTX680, Windows 10).

Ive heard about obs but i dont think it has "record that".
Yea, Shadowplay worked great for me for like 2 months, then it just started recording black screens with only audio, sometimes opposite. But now it doesnt even open so yea haha

idk if u know how to answer this or not, but when i tried it for the first time on csgo it worked, but then i tried it on rainbow six siege and it didnt work. do u know y?

it just didnt record at all, and there was so overlay showing. I didnt change anything inbetween the two games

I'm not sure, you might want to have a look at the settings. Maybe it didn't start recording the second time because it did't change the filename and so it didn't overwrite the existing file.

When I first installed the program it SCANNED for a list of my games.

However, I seen no place to manually add a game if it didn't detect it.

*If still not working, what happens if you manually start/stop (default is CTRL+😉
