Any good 5930k alternatives (as in cheaper 40 Lane PCIe CPU)

Hello folks.

I'm on the hunt for a 40 lane PCIe CPU alternative to the 5930k. Specifically one with single thread performance similar to a 4770. I don't really need more than four core/8 thread but, if I can snag a 6 core/12 thread cheap that would be cool. I've already confirmed the intended motherboard will run pretty much any haswell/broadwell 2011-3 so that's not an issue. Also, there won't be any overclock trickery going on with this set up, i'm looking for stability.

I'm thinking something like the E5 1620 v4 (or E5 1650 V3 if I can find a good used one). Just need some input on what a good long term solution would be.

Speed is not a huge factor but i'm not 100% sure on that. 28 lanes won't do unfortunately. Not to go into too many details, but there are going to be a few PCIe extension cards that are going to eat up ALOT of lanes in addition to a few M.2 and PCIe SSD's. I need a minimum of 36 lanes.

Also, this particular setup is not for me exactly more of a pet project for work lol... so most of the budget is going to the stuff connected to the computer itself.

There really isn't anything for the price with the same speed as the 1620v3. The 5820k is 6c/12t, costs more but is a little slower and lacks the 40 pcie lanes. Unless you find a good deal on something used, the 1620v3 is the only sub $300 40 pcie lane cpu I'm aware of for 2011-3 boards.

Thanks guys, the resident IT folks here at work confirmed what we could get for the price. E5 1620/30 V3/4 seems the way to go for the single thread speeds we will need (unless we buy like 100 or something lol).
