Any good monitors for high fps?

Im looking for an affordable monitor, I was hoping to get 120hz or 144 hz. The thing is I don't know the prices of the monitors. My current monitors are slowly dying and the i see pickles only ever staying white in lines accosed a half an inch area. I built a new gaming computer and i think its time to upgrade my monitor as well. I have no price rang except keep it under 250$ if possible. If you cant go any cheaper keep it near 200$-300$.
