Any i7 fit my motherboard ?

I am just wondering I have an i7 3770, I want upgrade to a newer i7 but will any i7 fit on my motherboard ?

Specs:

Motherboard - Advent DT2
Cpu - i7 3770 @ 3.4ghz
Psu - Corsair GS600w
RAM - 16gb
Gfx - Asus GTX 1080 TURBO
Storage - 2TB HDD & 240gb SSD

No, your board does support 3rd gen CPUs. For later gen CPUs you'd have to upgrade the motherboard and memory too.

Okay thanks for the quick reply, is that the highest cpu version I can have on my motherboard a 3770?

I'm not sure I probably don't need to right now just curious if I can on the future, also just bought a new ssd to put my OS on it but having problems so I have bought a usb flash drive which will help as I don't have a CD with Windows on it
