Question Any performance gain between B450m and X470 for R 2700?

Hello
I have a MSI Gaming Plus B450M for about a year coupled with an AMD Rysen 2700, lately I found it slower than before on boot, with a 3 second blank page with a flashing dot before showing the Bios logo.
I wonder if I shouldn't ''upgrade'' my Motherboard to the newer X470 like the Asus TUF, will it also give a small performance boost or chipsets have nothing to do with it?

No, you wouldn't get any better performance or faster BOOT times.
