Hi, I've got a crossfire setup (R9 290) and I've recently purchased an ASUS p278q monitor to enjoy a higher resolution (1440p). I've noticed that a single R9 290 can handle most games that I play (Titanfall, Bf4, d3) and can run them on max setting at close to/at 60 fps which is the refresh rate of the monitor.
To really take advantage of the crossfire setup I have to turn v-synch off however that causes screen tearing so I was wondering if there is much point to having the second r9 290 card or if there is any way of fixing the screen tearing issue when v-synch is turned off.
Cheers
