Any reason I can't put a Corsair H80i in the back of a Corsair Spec Alpha

I'm building a new PC soon and was wondering if I could put the Corsair H80i in the back of the Corsair Spec Alpha. I know I can put a radiator in the front of the case but I haven't seen anyone put one in the back

There is NO reason why you can. You have plenty of space to mount it even with both fans installed.

Did you manager to install it?
I'm actually trying to do the same: H80i v2 + Corsair Spec Alpha Red / Black that I ordered on Materiel.net, but they contacted me and told me that there are some screws that blocked the closing of the side window 😱 I'm a bit surprised as it's mentioned that it is compatible with 120mm watercoolings on the back :s

If you managed to do it, is it possible to have a picture of it so that I can tell them to revise their installation please? ^^

I actually ended up going with the h100i v2 because the day I got it there was a $20 rebate. The only way I could see a h80i not fittings is if the radiator is bigger than the fans that go in it cause then fan is in pretty snug. If you would like I can show a picture of the back with it all put together except GPU so you could get an idea

Oh okay congrats for your H100i v2 I hesitated to get it too when they told me that the H80i v2 wouldn't fit but then I saw the size of it (plus I'd loose the LED fans ><).

I've seen lots of pictures of it thx anyway 😉
