Tried it out for a little more than a few months.
On my end, it seems to work well... until the browser gets stuck in limbo, and minutes later, the system freezes. Crtl+Alt+Del... no response - forced to hit the restart switch.
It's not an everyday thing, but I didn't notice these issues until after running it.

Oh well, I'll have to reinstall Windows and motherboard drivers again.

I have used that previously on really low-end hardware. It makes a noticeable difference to performance when your PC isn't constantly sending MS telemetry data or uploading files to one drive.

The only issue I had was it deletes some of the files required for the XBOX app to log you in. You can exclude the Xbox app from the debloater app before running it, if you like.

If you plan to re-install Windows, it would be interesting to see if updating to 2004 changed anything (or put all of the "de-bloated" stuff back.

Odd that only FF seems affected. Must be some unmet dependency.

Jayztwocents brought it up in one of his videos, and I decided to give it a trial run - I'd heard of it before that video, but ehh, my curiosity got the better of me.

@COLGeek
Imma go ahead and update right now and see if I can trigger it again.
If it still happens, I'll go ahead and reinstall Windows + motherboard drivers, and leave the debloater alone.

I am not a fan of such tools. While they certainly provide some benefit in some configs, they also tend to produce unintended consequences as well.
This is also what I have found through experience and have given up on it because they always breaks something

its just like registry cleaners and 3rd party driver updaters, they do more hurt than help.

its a shame so many websites that offer help online are actually trying to sell you something you don't need.

win 10 isn't really that bloated to begin with. Sure beats some mobile phone makers. I have never felt need to run the apps or remove packages via powershell. If a program isn't actually running, how can it be in the way? bloat as in space on storage? I have 4tb of space, not like I need to conserve it... people worry about nothing.

Phew! Finally done.
Reinstalling didn't take too long - around 45mins, but it was everything else that was a pain in the butt.
Still took longer than I remember... I started around 10:20am, I think?

Windows Dark Mode was nice - the bloody OS won't let me change it otherwise...
All the other searches tell you how to do it with non-activated versions, ugh.

UPDATE:

It wasn't the debloater after all. The Dolphin emulator appears to be causing the system hangs. I installed the latest stable version too.
That is odd. Glad you sorted it out.
