Ideally I would like to keep the price below $2000 CAD, I don't plan on moving to 1440p anytime soon, I just want really solid performance in any game at 1080p 144 Hz using relatively high settings. I know the power supply is a bit much but I will probably want to upgrade in the coming years. Are there any components that would work better or anything I should get rid of etc? Thanks a lot!

Everything looks good however for 1080P/144hz on higher settings you'll need to overclock that CPU and the EVO 212 really isn't up to the task. While it would go about $30 over your budget the Scythe Mugen 5 would be able to handle a 5ghz+ OC with safe temps.
