any suggestions for this $550 budget gaming pc

Solution
You do pretty much have the best set up that you could have for this price. If you can get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, that will help with noise and temperatures, but you can always add that later. You do also have room for an AMD 270 ( not the x version). You could also get a WD black HDD which will really help with speeds.

You could pick any of these and stay below $600
You could gett an XFX 550 Watt PSU, you won't be needing 600 watts. That could save you some. I highly recommend trying to save just $60 for the 270x that is $200. You will be able to run games like Battlefield 4 on Ultra. It is always worth it in the end to go for whats just a little bit more.

The rest seems fine to me. You could get more decorative RAM at that same price but that is up to you.

ok thanks but would you go with intel/nvidia or stick with amd personally

It depends on what price I am given. I go with whatever gives me the best performance at its price range. I currently have an Nvidia 770, but I almost went with a 280x but right before my purchase, the price shot up on the 280x a $100 due to bitcoin miners.
