[SOLVED] Any suggestions?

So my parents don't want me running a very long ethernet cable through the house which I understand tbh. My bedroom in an attic bedroom so it's the furthest away from the router which is on the bottom floor of my house. I can't connect to my pc any other way I think apart from an USB or WiFi card. Am I right? Or is there any other option I can take to get a better stable connection without wired connection?

You could get a router extender, which acts as another router. I am using one of those and it hasn't caused any problems. From there, you can connect to it via wifi, and they might even have ethernet (not sure abt it).

This sounds like a situation for powerline adapters. There success will depend on the house wiring but that’s the route I would go.

Simplest would be a wifi card with a good antenna.
USB dongles tend to be weaker than add in cards.
Try that first.

If the signal is too weak, look into added solutions such as a wifi extender or even electrical outlet signalling.
