Hello all starting to build new pc without gpu as i already have one rtx 3080

is this any good looking to play star citizen game aswell any suggestions or everything is good

My max budget for just components without gpu is around £800

The 12 gen i5 beats out the older Intel 10 & 11 gen i7's in most games. As far as the 12600K / KF goes, it beats out the 12400 / 12400F by a slim margin.
If you only want to game, the 12400F would be only marginally and basically unnoticably worse than the 12600K. If you plan to stream or perform other tasks like CPU rendering or animating etc. as well, or plan to overclock, then the 12600K would be the winner.

well it will be only for mainly playing games and multitasking but I want for future proof aswell if it will be still good for another couple years or more i might be using aswell dual monitors one for playing and other one for browsing stuff
