usually they slide in at an angle to the slot(about 30 degrees), then push down on the flat or face side or the side the ram chips are on, what ever you want to call it. this is unlike a desktop where it just goes strait down by pushing on the edge of it. just make sure the ram is slid all the way in the slot before pushing down on it to lock it in. again no real pressure should be involved
I actually think laptop ram upgrade is easier because there is a lot less force involved, and by a lot less I mean a lot less, having to put any force on it means your not aligned right.
