Any way to access safe mode on Windows 8?

I've installed a bad video card driver and I need to access safe mode to get rid of it, but I've checked everywhere and there seems to be no way without booting into Windows 8 first. I've tried using system repair options from my install disk too. I'm extremely lost and have no idea what to do. Help please!

Just run a system restore if you have any spots to refer back to. Is this a laptop or desktop?

UEFI and SSD use prevents F8/Shift+F8 from working. It's something they'll fix in Windows 10 hopefully.

Can you remove the video card and go off of your onboard video, then use the shift+restart method?

This is a desktop pc. And I have no system recovery file to boot from, that is my problem :/

Try turning on legacy mode and tell me if f8 works. It will be in the boot options in your BIOs

It seems after me doing the ghetto method of making Windows fail to restart by manually shutting down, it has allowed me to enter advanced options and I have successfully booted into safe mode. Thanks anyway guys!
