Is their anyway to make this build cheaper without suffering performance. I plan to play Skyrim on Ultra with at least 50 mods. Some very heavy mods too

And would i have to overclock it?

You can play it on ultra settings..At 30+ fps. You cant overclock your processor as it is a locked cpu because it doesn't contain k in its model name. Don't overclock your gpu, performance will not increase much, it will only reduce GPUs life. ....

plus abt 50 mods? i checked the recommended requirements for ultra and I double them

Yes you can play it more than 50 fps....

Depending on the mods you may need a better GPU. What mods are you going to be running? ENB visual mods? If so, running a bunch of those require a strong GPU. For those I'd recommend at least either a R9 290 or a GTX 970.

I knew enb's would be heavy on my pc so i decided against them for now, maybe enhance textures, but i'm probably gonna get mods that enhance the gameplay, enemy ai, followers, nps, and cities. Mainly focused on immersion

it looks good, the 960 might be a better choice, after testing it myself i found out it does a little better than the r9 280 at 1080p it also uses Less power and has less heat.
