While it is slightly disappointing, someone has to go first. It makes more sense for a phone to support the new standard first, particularly when some of the key features are much more interesting for phones than they are for PCs (like two simultaneous headphone connections). Mobos and add-in-cards will start to appear soon.
Out of curiosity, why do you want to use Bluetooth to connect your phone and PC? Even the "twice as fast" BT5 is only 2Mbps (0.5% of USB 2... let alone USB 3), and generally desktops are static and having a cable to connect your phone is hardly inconvenient. I'm not saying it's pointless, I'm just trying to understand your use case, because right now I can't see one.
