Question Anybody got Thunderbolt Share to work? Please tell me how.

I already have another thread going:

Onboard Thunderbolt ports not getting seen by Windows, but work as USB-C ?

I want to know if anyone out there how had gotten Thunderbolt Share between 2 PC's to work WITHOUT a docking station between.

Meaning one TB4 cable between the 2 PC's directly into the TB4 ports on the motherboard, not an add-in card.

But if you only could get it working using an add-in card, I'd like to know that too.

I can't get my 2 PC's Thunderbolt/USB4 ports to be recognized as TB4 to install drivers for each. I have linked the 2 PCs with TB4 cables, but nothing shows in Device Manager.

All settings in BIOS and OS are correct.

Software won't install the drivers, says "not needed."

Please let me know if you got it working, and how.

The motherboards should be licensed, as they both have the lightning bolt referring to the Thunderbolt 4 ports.

But this is not the issue, not Thunderbolt Share!
USB-C works, but no Thunderbolt. I assure you that all setting (Bios, Motherboard, etc) are correct. The cables used are USB4/Thunderbolt compliant, and reviews all say they work great.

It's that the Device Manager doesn't see any Thunderbolt ports/connections, although "live."
