Anyone a Newegg preferred account member?

I was thinking of applying for this since they offer 1.1% savings. Are there any disadvantages of signing up for this?

i got preferred account, the only way i could have afforded my rig. no disadvantages whatsoever, it's just like a credit card (almost).

Only way you could have afforded your rig? I'm looking at a $2,000 wish list and at 1.1% savings, that comes to $22 off. I'd probably get the card if I had any credit at the moment, but I don't (student). Anyway, it doesn't seem like that much of a big deal. I guess it can add up if you buy from them a lot though..

Yes. If you don't have the money, you can't afford it...

well, you'll have 6 month to come up with the money, and during that time you'll get a chance to use whatever it is that you ordered.
