I mean if you go into CPU settings in the bios C10 status exists which is supposedly the same as modern standby.

However under powercfg - a, powershell says.

Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

So can it be that gigabyte did something to block it being recognized in Windows as Modern Standby?

I was let to believe that if powerstate C10 was part of your motherboards, and that if you had a modern standby enabled PSU, then Windows 10 would recognize modern standby.

However, then I enable the things. I get the following.

C:\Windows\system32>powercfg -a
The following sleep states are available on this system:
Standby (S3)
Hibernate
Hybrid Sleep
Fast Startup

The following sleep states are not available on this system:
Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

Its Gigabyte Z390 Aeros Pro motherboard.

So the million dollars question. Could this be that the motherboard is missing Intel si0x ? Which I read today is also component in modern standby?

Any thoughts?
