Anyone has bought used graphic card from amazon?

At my budged i can afford that one that sells amazon used, what do you guys think? Because i can afford an r9270 only with this budged and the 760 is better!

I have bought used cards (old 460) and didn't have any problem. Considering r9 270x is just 7% slower than gtx 760, I would go with new 270x.

Just keep in mind, you don't know what they used that card for. Did they take care of it? Did they let it overheat? Did they accidentally knock their computer over? If it was me, I'd look for refurbished cards instead of straight used. At least then there's a bit more security.

For those prices, it's not worth it. You can buy a new GTX 760 for almost that same price:

In that case you could go with a new R9 270X... it gets pretty close to the GTX 760's performance.

BTW, I kind of agree with the risks in buying a used video card. You have no idea how badly they might have messed up the card trying to do overclocks, modding, custom heatsinks, whatever. If you found someone (maybe in a forum) who just likes to upgrade a lot and wanted to sell it to get some money back, maybe that *might* be more acceptable.
