Anyone have a AMD Athlon 3200+ 400fsb laying around?

If they did I dont think they would give it to you for free. Check Ebay.

I have checked EBAY, prices seem too high for an older processor. I see them going over $100 all of the time. That seems way too high for this old of a processor now.

You can buy this from newegg

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 1GHz HT 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor - Retail

for cheaper than I see the AMD Athlon 3200+ Barton 400fsb on EBAY most times

Nah, sorry, and i would fight you too the death for it if it was going free. What you upgrading from?

And why not try a 2500+ mobile, unlocked multi, overclock like a bitch, but only 333FSB, or a 3000+ (333) like i have, clocks to 2.5Ghz on stock cooling, stays cool, and stable as.

Well I never said I wanted it free 🙂 I would be willing to pay a little for it.

I currently have a AMD Athlon 2800+ 333 FSB, and the AMD Athlon 3200+ 400 FSB is the max my motherboard can handle. I would just like to upgrade it for not too much, just to max out my CPU. I plan on upgrading my machine, but probably not until later this year, so would just like a slight upgrade for now.

TBH i was thinking bout the same, i had the ugre to get something new, so i thought new CPU. However i was informed that the increase was nominal.

If you really wanna do it then you could always ebay your current CPU after u have brought a new one, and will save u quite a bit of moneys.
