Anyone have any info on Lite-On CD writers?

Their 12x10 cd rw drive with burn-proof is available for $120. What little I could turn up seems to say that they use a Sanyo chipset, and the drive itself looks a lot like a plextor. Anyone have one of these? Or have any experience with their products? Thanks!

that sounds suspiciously like the AOpen drive...which I have...and it's a piece of feces. I'd stay away from cheapies. buy yourself a plextor..even if you have to buy an 8x4. It takes longer to re-do a coaster at 12x than to get a perfect cd the first time at 8x.
