Question anyone know a fix for microstutters in r6

having awful stutters in r6 any advice welcome
specs
i5 2500k
gtx 970
8gb ram

what the cpu/gpu temp and usage during the game?

meduim setttings 1920x1080 all temps are fine and a 650w corsair

That is probably one of your issues. Running one stick of memory is in single Channel whereas running two identical sticks of memory is dual Channel. It's very possible the memory is saturated to its fullest and it's using your hard drive if it needs any additional memory. Once that happens stuttering will occur. Luckily, memory prices have dropped and you could buy an 8 gig dual-channel kit for very reasonable prices now
